Welcome to Torchwood! Before getting involved in the Torchwood community, the forum staff requires that all registered members read through and understand the following completely. Questions or comments concerning the guidelines below may be sent via e-mail or private message to Captain Jack or The Doctor.
1. NO multiple accounts.
Creating more than one account is strictly prohibited. If for any reason you are not happy with your first registered account DO NOT create a new one, please contact the forum staff to have your account changed or removed.
If you are unhappy with your name for whatever reason, please PM Captain Jack or The Doctor.
2. DO NOT ask questions already covered in the F.A.Q.
Before asking a question when having difficulty with a forum related matter, please read the F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions) first.
3. We expect every member and staff to be respectful to other members and staff around the forum. If you have a problem with a staff member or member, please talk to Captain Jack or The Doctor (Or any other member of staff).
4. Post in the CORRECT FORUM.
As easy as it may sound, this is one of the most common errors users make on message boards these days. If you are unsure where your thread should be placed, please inform any staff member via PM before or after posting your topic/post.
5. Stay ON TOPIC.
Sometimes very relevant topics get closed for unfortunate reasons. The most common reason why topics are forced to be closed are due to users having the tendency to lose focus on the thread's original subject. No one wants to be blamed for closed threads so it is required that off topic comments are displayed in

6. NO posting in all caps.
Yelling or not, no one likes to read posts full of capital letters. Please keep the caps lock off at all times.
7. NO spamming of any kind.
Posts with very little content or not well thought out, advertising outside of the Advertising Forum and offensive posts are all spam. Spam also contains one word answers. To make it simple, spam is found where it is not appropriate or unwelcomed.
8. NO flooding/bumping of topics.
You may not double post in a topic unless your last post was over 24 hours ago. This is no way to boost your post count.
9. NO flaming directed at other members.
If you have a problem with another member(s), please DO NOT call them out publicly. The only suitable solution is to simply PM a staff member or talk with the member OUTSIDE of the forums.
10. NO discrimination of any kind.
Discrimination of one's race, sex, religion and/or lifestyle will not be tolerated in any way shape or form. If we suspect any sort of discrimination, we will not hesitate to act upon it.
If you break any of these rules YOU WILL BE PUNISHED. This may be a warning, suspension, ban or another punishment depending on what staff feel is efficient.
